Purpose of Visit:

  • To conduct a high-level discussion on critical labor market issues in Korea, including youth employment challenges and the prevailing skills mismatch.
  • To gather expert insights and research data regarding the current status and effectiveness of the Korean vocational education and training (TVET) system.
  • To facilitate interviews with KRIVET’s TVET experts to inform OECD economic surveys and policy recommendations.
  • To explore collaborative pathways for addressing structural barriers in the Korean labor market through evidence-based vocational policy.
