In this study, prior research related to the construction and analysis of secondary education data was reviewed, data collection and management related to vocational high schools in Korea, Germany, and the UK were investigated, and about 730 vocational high school teachers, managers (principal, vice principal) and educational professions (researchers, scholars, researchers, scholarships) were surveyed on data utilization and demand. In addition, based on the analysis and expert advice, policy suggestions for collecting, building, and managing vocational high school-related data were derived. The main policy suggestions are as follows. First, it is necessary to develop educational indicators suitable for vocational high schools and expand related data collection items accordingly. Second, it is necessary to prepare a plan for the linkage and integrated use of vocational high school-related data collected by various institutions. Third, it is necessary to actively utilize administrative data related to vocational high school. Fourth, it is necessary to expand the scope of disclosure of vocational high school-related data. Fifth, an organization is required to manage vocational high school data, publish vocational education data analysis reports, and respond to the establishment of educational big data. Sixth, it is necessary to increase the accessibility and use of vocational high school data users.
