Among the new doctorate recipients in life sciences from domestic universities, 33.5% have mainly paid the tuition on their own, and 54.0% have paid the tuition by scholarships. In the United States, however, 86.1% have paid the tuition by scholarships, and only 9.0% have paid the tuition on their own.
Among the new doctorate recipients from the top five domestic universities in life sciences in terms of the numbers of doctorate recipients, 33.3% have mainly paid the tuition on their own.
