In the interview phase, Korean companies consider interpersonal competency (25.0 points), professional knowledge (20.5 points), general academic accomplishment (14.7 points), and strategic behavior capability (14.6 points) to be important factors, whereas EU companies regard professional knowledge (19.5 points), interpersonal competency (19.1 points), commercial and entrepreneurial competencies (17.6 points), and innovation and creativity (16.0 points) as important factors.
Korean companies are willing to pay up to 3.4% more than the wages of average skilled employees for the upper 25% of highly skilled employees.? On the other hand, EU companies are willing to pay at least 9.4?16.6% more for the same case; in other words, Korean companies are less willing to pay higher wages for higher skills than EU companies.
