마이스터고졸 취업자의 20% 이상이 후진학에 참여하고 있으며, 미(未)참여자의 경우에도 60% 이상이 향후 학위 취득 계획이 있는 것으로 나타남.
후진학 참여 대학은 일반 4년제 대학(2013년도 및 2014년도 졸업생 각각 52.0%, 38.4%)이 가장 많고, 후진학 프로그램 운영 방식으로는 평일 야간의 비율(2013년도 및 2014년도 졸업생 각각 44.4%, 38.1%)이 가장 높음.
재학 중인 대학의 전공계열은 공학계열이 70% 이상을 차지하여 높은 비율을 보였으며, 대학 전공과 현재 직무 간의 일치도는 75% 이상인 것으로 나타남.
후진학 참여자 중 소속 기업으로부터 후진학 참여 관련 비용을 지원받고 있는 비율은 40% 미만이며, 대학 학위 취득이 임금 인상이나 승진에 도움이 된다는 응답은 절반 수준임(2013년도 및 2014년도 졸업생 각각 44.8%, 53.6%).

 More than 20% of meister high school graduates are participating in the “Employment First, Education Later” program and more than 60% of non-participants plan to pursue degrees in the future.
 The majority of participating universities are four-year universities (52.0% and 38.4% of meister high school graduates in 2013 and 2014, respectively) and weekday night programs showed the highest (44.4% and 38.1% of graduates in 2013 and 2014 respectively) in program type.
 A high percentage of majors was in engineering, accounting for more than 70%. The degree of agreement between major and current job was more than 75%. 
 Of the participants, less than 40% received support from their companies for the costs of participating in the education later, and about half of the respondents answered that university degree is helpful in wage increase or promotion (44.8% of graduates in 2013, and 53.6% of graduates in 2014).
