The global capability score for students in Seoul and Gyeonggi stands at 56.5, which is significantly higher than 46.2% for those in other regions.
The figure for science and engineering majors is 48.1, which is lower than that for humanities and social science majors at 51.8.
The higher the school year, the higher the global capability score is. The figure stands at 60.8 for 5th year or higher, 55.7 for 4th year, 49.9 for 3rd year, 49.6 for 2nd year and 45.8 for the 1st year.
Exposure to global experience has been found to be the determinant of global capabilities. The score for the top 25% with the highest exposure to global experience stands at 58.8, which is considerably higher than 36.5 for the bottom 25%.
The score for those who have participated in global capability programs stands at 60.3, which is higher than 52.2 for those who haven’t.
