델파이 조사와 설문조사 과정을 거쳐 역량 모델 도출 및 타당화 결과, 일자리 질적 미스매치 대응을 위한 대학 교수의 진로지도 역량 모델은 ‘학생특성 이해 및 활용, 공감적 의사소통, 전공분야 일자리 정보 수집 및 활용, 교내외 네트워크 구축 및 활용, 진로개발 동기부여, 주도적 진로지도, 고용가능성 개발 촉진’의 7개 역량 및 43개 행동지표로 개발됨.
역량 개발 요구분석 결과, ‘전공분야 일자리 정보 수집 및 활용’과 ‘학생특성 이해 및 활용’역량이 최우선순위 개발 역량으로 나타났으며, 차순위로 ‘교내외 네트워크 구축 및 활용’과 ‘진로개발 동기부여’역량이 도출됨.
기존의 대학 교수의 진로지도 역량 연구가 태도와 자질을 강조하였다면 본 연구에서는 실질적 직무수행과 이론지식 역량이 강조되었으며, 그에 따른 전문성 신장 및 인프라 구축을 통한 지원이 절실히 요구됨

Based on the findings from the Delphi survey and questionnaire, the college professors’ career guidance capacity model to respond to the employment and skill mismatch among students was developed into 43 behavioral indicators of 7 capacity areas (Understanding and Utilization of Traits of Individual Students, Empathy in Communication, Collection and Utilization of Job Information Related to Majors, Establishment and Utilization of On-Campus and Off-Campus Networks, Motivation for Career Development, Self-Led Career Guidance, and Promotion of Employability Development).

As a result of the analysis of the capacity development demands, the most-demanded areas for development were found to be “Collection and Utilization of Job Information Related to Majors” and “Understanding and Utilization of Traits of Individual Students”, followed by “Establishment and Utilization of On-Campus and Off-Campus Networks” and “Motivation for Career Development”.

While previous research on the career guidance capacity of college professors focused on attitudes and qualifications, this research emphasized the importance of the substantive performance of duties and theoretical knowledge and highlighted the need for support through expertise enhancement and infrastructure construction.
