직업계고 교사들은 현재와 미래의 직업계고의 교육 목표로서 ‘취업 중심’이 적절하다는 데 각각 76.5%, 80.4%로 가장 높은 동의 비율을 보임.
현재 직업계고에서 추구해야 할 인간상으로는 ‘능력 있는 사람’의 동의 비율이 89.8%로 가장 높고, 미래 직업계고에서 추구해야 할 인간상으로는 ‘더불어 사는 사람’의 동의 비율이 93.7%로 가장 높음.
현재 교육과정에의 반영 정도가 가장 높은 핵심 역량은 ‘전공 역량(평균 4.11점)’이었으며, 직업계고 학생의 핵심 역량으로서 가장 중요한 역량은 ‘의사소통 역량(평균 4.59점)’인 것으로 나타남.
향후 고교학점제 도입에 따른 국가 교육과정 개정 시 기술적으로 뛰어난 인재를 양성하는 데에서 더 나아가, 사회 구성원으로서 살아가는 데 필요한 기본 소양 교육이 강조될 필요가 있음.

- The ideal person in the current vocational high school was indicated as ‘Competent person’ with 89.8%, and the ideal person of the vocational high school in the future showed ‘who can live with each other’ with 93.7%. 
- Key competency which is the most highly reflected in current curriculum is ‘major competency’ (average of 4.11 points), and the most important core competency vocational high school students must possess is ‘communication aptitude’ (average of 4.59 points).
- As High School Credit System will be implemented in the future, in addition to developing technically advanced talent when revising the national education system, there needs to be an additional emphasis on educating basic grounding as members of society.
