- Apprentice students participating in remote training pilot program evaluated instructors’ implementation of teaching and learning design strategy as the most positive, their learning immersion and participation as second most positive, and academic achievement and spread as the least positive response.
- The more positive an instructor’s teaching and learning design implemented in remote training is perceived, apprentice students’ learning immersion and participation and further academic achievement and spread are supported.
- Particularly, as instructors’ teaching and learning design strategy implementation is improved by a unit, apprentice students’ academic immersion and participation impact on academic achievement and spread (conditional effect) is increased by 0.16. Implementation of teaching and learning design strategy, passing through apprentice students’ academic immersion and participation, impact on academic achievement and spread (conditional indirect effect) increases by approximately 0.08.
- Such analysis results suggest improving the effectiveness of remote training, learning objectives, contents, methodology, and establishing and executing suitable teaching and learning design strategy based on students’ characteristics is highly important.
