○ Both local goverment officials and project participants of the Village-School Community Projects perceived the actual outcome of the project (3.48 points) to be insufficient compared to the necessity of the project (4.24 points). Local goverment officials and project participants, however, have differing perception on the necessities of detailed topics.
○ Gaps in perceptions with regards to project direction and expectation between local goverment officials and project participants were identified. While local government officials emphasize policy objectives in project enforcement, project participants hope for further participation in policy making and support in the implementing process.
○ Challenges in project execution process were mostly identified to be from site-level project execution, such as lack of initiative from schools (41.1%) and lack of initiative from local residents (20.8%), rather than issues from policy execution.
○ In order for the Village-School Community Projects to be carried out smoothly, efforts to build consensus and raise awareness among all society members, not just including site-level villages but also city/county/district councils and the greater local society, are valid.
