○ 범용기술(general purpose technology)의 속성을 갖는 인공지능은 일과 직업 세계에 광범위한 영향을 미치지만, 그 영향력의 질적·양적 차이가 존재함. 
○ 실제 직업의 세계에 미치는 기술의 영향력은 기술적 속성과 함께 그 기술이 일의 세계에 도입될 때, 다양한 산업적, 경제적, 사회적, 제도적, 문화적 요인들에 의해서 상이하게 작용함으로써 직종별, 직종내의 직업별로 상이하게 나타남.
○ 예를 들어 자영업이나 중소기업이 집중된 산업부문과 같이 제도적 장벽이 작동하거나 자동화를 위한 자본투자의 규모화가 진행되기 어려울 경우, 기술적 측면에서의 대체 가능성이 높더라도 실제 기술 도입의 가능성은 낮게 나타날 수 있음

○ Artificial intelligence (AI) as a general-purpose technology has a far-reaching impact on work and jobs, but such influence varies in terms of quality and magnitude.
○ The impact of technology can be varied when technologies are adopted by firms and introduced in workplaces, depding on the extent to which various industrial, economic, social, institutional, and cultural factors intervene. This leads to different levels of impact on different industries and occupations.
○ If there are institutional barriers as in industries dominated by self-employed businesses or small- and medium-sized companies or if it is difficult to make sizable investments for automation, then the possibility of adopting relevant technology may be low although the level of technical feasibility is high from the technological perspective.
