○ 학교에서 이루어지는 여러 진로교육활동 중 학생들이 향후 가장 희망하는 진로교육활동 1순위는 중학생과 고등학생 모두 ‘진로체험’으로 나타남.
○ 학생이 희망하는 진로탐색의 기회를 충분히 제공하기 위해서는 학교 진로체험을 지원하는 전국 223개의 진로체험지원센터의 역할이 매우 중요함.
○ 진로체험지원센터를 활용하는 학교의 경우, 센터를 활용하지 않는 학교보다 약 1.6~2배 많은 진로체험을 실시하고 있으며, 학생들이 희망하는 실천적인 진로체험 유형을 실시하는 횟수가 높은 것으로 나타남.
○ 진로체험지원센터 활용률을 높이기 위해서는 국가 및 지역사회의 관심과 지원이 필요하며, 이를 통해 진로체험지원센터가 학교 진로체험을 지원하는 역할에서 나아가 지역인재를 양성하는 지역사회 진로개발의 중추적 기관으로 역할 하기를 기대함.

○ Among the various job-related programs operated at schools, what was most desired by both middle school and high school students was the career exploration  program.
○ It is important to effectively utilize the 223 career exploration support centers across the nation to provide sufficient job exploration opportunities to students.
○ Schools that utilized these centers were able to provide 1.6-2 times more career exploration than schools that did not utilize them, and they were able to more frequently offer the practical, hands-on career exploration programs desired by students.
○ The continued support and interest of the government and local communities are needed to promote the utilization of such career exploration support centers and help them rise beyond a support tool for schools and play an instrumental role in fostering trained local professionals.
