○ 청년층 고용률의 코로나19 위기 전 대비 최대 감소율이 중년층보다 전국 평균 3배 이상 큰 것으로 나타남.
○ 지역별로는 부산, 울산, 경북, 전남, 광주, 경기에서 청년 고용률의 최대 감소율이 상대적으로 컸고 회복이느렸음. 반면, 서울, 대전, 세종, 충북, 경남은 최대 감소 폭이 상대적으로 작고 회복도 빨랐음.
○ 비수도권이 수도권보다 청년 고용률의 최대 감소 폭이 컸고 느리게 회복됨.
○ 여성 및 고졸 이하 청년층 고용률이 위기 초반 큰 폭으로 하락한 후 빠르게 회복됨.

○ On average, the maximum decrease in the employment rate of youth after the outbreak of the pandemic was three times higher than that in the employment rate of middle-aged people.
○ By region, the maximum decrease in the youth employment rates of Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Jeollanam-do, Gwangju, and Gyeonggi-do was relatively high and slow to recover. On the contrary, the maximum decrease in the youth employment rates of Seoul, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungcheongbuk-do, and Gyeongsangnam-do was relatively low and quick to recover.
○ The maximum decrease in the youth employment rates of non-metropolitan regions was higher than that of the metropolitan area and was slower to recover.
○ The employment rates of women and youth with educational attainment equal to or lower than a high school diploma decreased drastically in the early days of the pandemic and recovered rapidly afterwards.
