○ 급변하는 미래 사회환경 변화와 위기에 대응하여 2022 개정 「진로와 직업」 교육과정은 학생의 주도적인 진로 개발 역량 함양을 강조한 교육과정으로 개정함.
○ 2022 개정 국가교육과정 총론에서 주요 학습방향으로 제시된 학습자 주도성, 생태전환교육, 민주시민교육, AI·디지털 소양교육을 「진로와 직업」 교육과정의 각 요소에 반영함.
○ 진로연계교육 및 학점 기반 선택 중심 교육과정의 시행을 앞두고, 2022 개정 「진로와 직업」 교육과정은 직업 세계에 대한 단편적인 이해를 넘어 진로 경로(career paths)의 다양성과 이를 위한 유연한 태도와 진로준비의 실천성을 보다 더 강조함.
○ 향후 개정 「진로와 직업」 교육과정에 대한 일반인, 학교 현장, 교과서 개발자 등의 이해를 확장시킬 수 있는 지원 문서 개발 등 다양한 정책적 노력이 요구됨.

○ In response to rapid changes and crises in future social environments, the 2022 revised national curriculum amended 「Career and Occupation」 curriculum to emphasize improvement of student-led career development competences.
○ Student-directed learning, ecological transformation education, democratic citizenship education, and AI/digital literacy education, which were engraved in the 2022 revised national curriculum frameworks are reflected in each element of the 「Career and Occupation」 curriculum.
○ Ahead of the implementation of Career-Integrated Education and Credit-Based Elective Curriculum in 2025, the 2022 revised 「Career and Occupation」 curriculum highlights the diversity of career paths, the flexible attitude and practicality of career preparation beyond simple understanding of the world of work.
○ It is required to put various political efforts into developing supplementary documents and materials in order to expand the understanding for the public, schools, textbook developers and others on the revision of the 「Career and Occupation curriculum.
