 Career Experience Support Centers, which assist in school-based career education, are primarily operated by local governments in metropolitan areas and by education offices in small and rural towns.
 A comparison of career education support patterns by center type shows that local government-operated centers demonstrate a higher level of preparedness for curriculum changes and stronger execution capacity. In contrast, education office-operated centers report higher teacher participation rates and place greater emphasis on supporting career experience programs.
 To provide students with meaningful career exploration opportunities, a balanced collaboration between local governments and education offices is essential, along with the development of a regionally tailored career education support system that reflects local characteristics.
