Private educational companies have heavily been engaged in vocational education and training in Korea for more than fifty years. The study was to identify problems in vocational education and training in these educational institutes and to make some suggestions for the betterment of vocational teaching and learning.
Several problems were identified through surveys on the managers' understanding levels of the vocational teaching and learning activities in these privately-owned educational institutes. Additional identification was made along with surveys on understandings of the students in these institutes. Based on the identified problems, some suggestions were accumulated.
