In order to look into the agreement level and significance degree on workplace know-how(composed of 5 workplace competencies and 3 foundation skills) presented in SCANS report as the educational objectives of industrial high schools, the survey was made through questionnaires to 334 industrial teachers in Gyeongnam Province.
The findings of this study were as follows.
(1) Mean agreement level of the workplace competencies as educational objectives was 2.98 in 4 type Likert scale.
(2) Mean agreement level of foundation skills as educational objectives was 3.23 in 4 type Likert scale. It is higher than workplace competencies'.
(3) Interpersonal skills are most significant in workplace competencies as the educational objectives followed by technology, resources, information, and systems.
(4) Personal qualities are most significant in foundation skills as the educational objectives followed by thinking skills and basic skills.
