Recently introductions of mentoring system in enterprise are underway. Those were mainly for the adaptation of recruits to enterprise, these days are widely being introduced for the career development of existing employees.
First of all, the main purpose of this study is to check if the menoring system bring about organizational commitment and what's the required mentor's competency to do it. With this in mind, we would like to review overseas research regarding the mentor's competency of mentor, the relation of mentor's competency and mentoring function and the relation of mentoring function and organizational commitment and so on. Besides we analysed whether the mentoring function mediates the relation between mentor's competency and organizational commitment. As a result, it proved that the mentoring function mediates the relation between mentor's competency and organizational commitment, therefore we confirmed the improtance of mentoring system as a means for the adaptation of recruits to enterprise.
