The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of career preparation behavior on job stress for job seekers participating in related programs at career education centers and job-related support institutions, and to confirm whether resilience and growth mindset control this relationship. The data of 207 adult job-seekers were used for analysis. As a result, first, resilience, growth mindset, and career preparation behavior were positively correlated with each other. Second, in the relationship between employment stress and career preparation behavior, resilience showed a moderating effect, but growth mindset did not have a statistically significant moderating effect. Additionally, among the sub-variables of job stress and career preparation behavior, the relationship between information collection activities showed moderating effect on growth mindset. The implications and limitations of these results were discussed.
