이 연구는 현재 워크넷을 통해 제공되고 있는 한국직업정보(Korea Network for Occupations and Workers, KNOW)의 효율적인 운영을 도모하고, 새로운 직업정보 영역을 반영한 재구조화(안)을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국직업정보 및 국내외 직업정보시스템 구조화 실태 분석과 직업정보 분야 전문가 인터뷰 내용을 바탕으로 한국직업정보 재구조화(안) 초안을 도출하였다. 이후 총 2회 차에 걸친 전문가 델파이 조사를 바탕으로 한국직업정보 재구조화(안) 최종안을 개발하였다. 연구 결과와 관련하여 한국직업정보 재구조화(안)은 핵심정보 유형, 부가정보 유형 총 두 개의 유형을 중심으로 3개의 대영역(업무 정보, 근로자 정보, 노동시장 정보), 7개 중영역 및 35개 소영역으로 구성된다. 이 연구를 통해 도출된 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국직업정보의 범용성 확대를 위해 국가분류기준 간의 연계가 필요하다. 둘째, 이 연구를 통해 도출된 새로운 직업 정보 영역의 개발이 필요하다. 셋째, 텍스트 기반의 직업정보 제공방식의 다변화 가이 요구된다.

This study promotes the Korea Network for Operations and Workers’ (KNOW) operational efficiency, currently provided through Worknet, to develop a restructuring draft that reflects new job information areas. Thus, a draft was developed based on the analysis of domestic and foreign information systems’ structuring status and interviews with experts in the vocational information field. 
Then, the final plan for restructuring KNOW was developed based on the Delphi method. This study’s results are as follows: KNOW consists of three large areas (job, worker. and labor market information), seven medium areas, and 35 small areas focusing on two types, core and additional information. The suggestions this study derived are as follows: First, it is necessary to make a linkage between national classification standards to expand KNOW’s versatility. Second, it is essential to develop a new job information area derived through this study. Third,  it is required to diversify a text-based job information provision method.
