This study promotes the Korea Network for Operations and Workers’ (KNOW) operational efficiency, currently provided through Worknet, to develop a restructuring draft that reflects new job information areas. Thus, a draft was developed based on the analysis of domestic and foreign information systems’ structuring status and interviews with experts in the vocational information field.
Then, the final plan for restructuring KNOW was developed based on the Delphi method. This study’s results are as follows: KNOW consists of three large areas (job, worker. and labor market information), seven medium areas, and 35 small areas focusing on two types, core and additional information. The suggestions this study derived are as follows: First, it is necessary to make a linkage between national classification standards to expand KNOW’s versatility. Second, it is essential to develop a new job information area derived through this study. Third, it is required to diversify a text-based job information provision method.
