The purpose of this study is to develop and validate the occupational personality scale for university students(OPSU). For that the investigated occupational personality factors and final statements from the previous concept mapping has been used as the initial constructs and items for OPSU. After the preliminary items were determined through verifying the contents validity by 6 experts, the 1st EFA to 316 capital four-years university students was conducted, and the factors and items was extracted. Additionally, the 2nd EFA to new 458 students was conducted, the final OPSU consisted of 47 items and 8 factors was developed which is self-awareness, self-confidence, consideration, communication ability, community spirit, activeness, credibility, contextual thinking. As a result of item analysis, OPSU showed the average, standard deviation and correlation between the items within a proper range. And each factor showed acceptable Cronbach’s α from .636 to .913. Next, CFI, SRMR, RMSEA, and TLI values showed pretty close fit as a result of CFA conducted on 458 students to verify the validity of the component structure. As for a concurrent validity of OPSU, there were meaningful relevance between 8 factors and career adaptability, career future index, and ego-resilience scale each other. Through the above results, OPSU has proven to be reliable and valid. Therefore OPSU will provide background data for a government education policy establishment, a university education system innovation, a company employment system improvement, and upgrade the fitted strategy quality output grounded from individual occupational personality assessment for career professional and a student. Finally OPSU will contribute to activate the study about the relationships between occupational personality and other related variations.
