Defining the ‘Master’ as an ideal archetype for workers, this study aims to conceptualize ‘Masteristic Influence’, describe distinct factors of ‘Masteristic Influence’, and evaluate the psychometric property of ‘Masteristic Influence’. An initial pool of 25 items was developed through an exploration of empirical researches. Through the two Delphi surveys, ‘Masteristic Influence’ has been conceptualized and categorized into five distinct factors and 23 items. As a result of the preliminary survey (N=219), the two distinct factors have been eliminated. By utilizing the data acquired from the main survey (N=525), an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) have been conducted. Consequently, it indicates that the three distinct factors and 23 items of ‘Masteristic Influence’ have high validity and high reliability. This scale is expected to play a pivotal role as a quantitative instrument in facilitating further studies concerning the positive effect of ‘Masteristic Influence’ in the workplace.
