The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the basic course for in-company trainers of Korean work-learning dual system, and investigate the policy support plans to develop competency of in-company trainers. Survey respondents were 538 in-company trainers of Korean work-learning dual system (Kim et al., 2020). The results of this study are as follows. First, the basic course has a positive effect on person-job (in-company trainer) fit, and person-job (in-company trainer) has the mediating effect between basic course and competency of in-company trainers.
Second, the in-company trainers mainly agreed the following. ① Complete the basic course before developing a training course, ② Reinforce the training for instructors of basic course, ③ Implement on-line training for the contents those to delivery knowledge and information. Based on these results, we suggested several implications to develop their competency.
